DU receives 41,473 registrations on first day of UG admissions Delhi University Sees Massive Response with 41,473 Registrations in Just One Day The admission process for undergraduate courses at Delhi University (DU) is off to a flying start, with a whopping 41,473 registrations received within the first day of the first phase. This impressive response is a testament to the popularity of DU’s undergraduate programs. Undergraduate Courses: A Wide Range of Options The university is offering around 71,600 undergraduate seats across 73 programs and 100 BA program combinations. The admission process is based on candidates’ Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores, taking into account their program and college preferences. This ensures that students are matched with their preferred courses and colleges. Postgraduate Admissions: Update on Confirmed Seats In addition to the undergraduate admissions, the postgraduate admission process is also underway. After two rounds of postgraduate admissions, 9,675 applicants have confirmed their admissions. Of these, 4,926 have frozen their seats, while 3,745 have opted for an upgrade. This means that the upgraded candidates will be considered for further rounds if a seat becomes available in a program ranked higher on their preference list. Other Program Admissions: Progress Updates Admissions to other programs, including B.Tech and the five-year integrated law courses, are at different stages. The first round of B.Tech admissions is currently underway, with 233 candidates having accepted their allotted seats and 41 completing the fee payment. Meanwhile, the third round of admissions to the integrated law program is in progress, with 105 admissions confirmed so far. The last date to pay the admission fee for the third round is June 30.
